Get Started with your Servant Solutions Plan

The Servant Solutions Retirement Plan is a 403(b)(9) Church Plan, a defined contribution plan built specifically for the unique needs of churches, Christian nonprofits, and Christian universities. It carries benefits that most retirement plans simply cannot offer.

Here is a snapshot of what is included in your new plan:

No Cost to Employers

Your organization can begin offering our plan to employees at no charge. There are no employer fees to get started, and our low fee structure ensures that more of every dollar stays working for your employees’ futures.

Free Financial Planning for Every Employee

Every member of your plan receives access to personalized financial planning guidance at no cost. When your team members call us, they reach real people who know their names and care about their futures.

Free Family Legal Documents

Employees receive complimentary preparation of wills, powers of attorney, and medical authorizations for themselves and their spouses – a value of up to $1,000.

Tax-Free Housing Allowance Designation

Credentialed ministers who receive retirement income from Servant Solutions may designate a portion as a tax-free housing allowance. Contributions go in pre-tax and, within legal limits, can come out tax-free in retirement. This is a significant advantage not available through most retirement plans.

Roth Option

Employees may make after-tax Roth contributions, allowing their savings to grow tax-free over time.

Biblically Grounded Investment Philosophy

Our investment lineup is guided through our trusted partners at Blue Trust, ensuring your employees’ savings reflect their values. Employees may choose from age-based LifeFund portfolios, individual mutual funds, or a Stable Value Fund – whatever fits their needs and confidence level.

$1,500 Newly Credentialed Pastor Gift Program

Newly credentialed pastors are eligible to receive up to $1,500 to help jump-start their retirement savings. It is one of the ways we celebrate those entering ministry with something lasting.

Exceptional, Personal Service

When your employees call, they will not navigate a phone tree or wait on hold. They will reach a team rooted in the calling to serve – people who understand ministry life, speak the language of ministerial taxes and compensation, and genuinely care about each person they help.

Communicate the Plan to Your Team

How you introduce this benefit matters. A clear, warm, and well-timed announcement builds trust and encourages participation. Here are our best practices for getting the word out.

Start With the Why

You should not have to choose between serving your calling and securing your future. We exist to make sure you never have to.

Use the Email Template We Provide

We have prepared a ready-to-send email template to introduce the plan to your employees. It covers the key details, sets expectations for the Education Enrollment Session, and answers the most common first questions. You do not need to start from scratch.

Meet With A Financial Wellness Planner

Once your organization or church is signed up, your employees can meet with our Financial Wellness Planning team. We recommend sharing this opportunity and sending reminders.
